TERMS AND CONDITIONS!!!! (PLEASE READ)

- It is your responsibility to ensure that goods that have been ordered can be delivered, and will fit in to any entranceways/hallways/corridors etc and are wide enough for the goods to pass through and will also fit in the required location within the delivery premises.

- All deliveries must be unpacked by the customer so that you can check over the condition of the goods before signing the delivery note. If any fault or damage is detected, this must be written on the delivery note. Once goods have been accepted and signed for, we cannot accept claims for goods damaged in transit if you have not indicated damage on the delivery note.

- Our drivers are very careful, however we cannot accept responsibility for any damage to your property whilst delivering your goods.

- Any customer refusing delivery of goods for any reason other than goods damaged in transit will be responsible for the delivery costs to the customer and the return to our warehouse.

We will give you a few days notice by phone so please provide us with your best contact numbers once you have placed the order on universal sofas.com

Please note we are not liable for any damages to property or furniture while entering your property.

RETURNS POLICY : 

All products are individually inspected before being dispatched, to ensure they are sent out in perfect condition.

In the unlikely event of returning the products, please email us, call or  message within 14 days of receiving delivery of your product. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us and (or any other UK address specified by us), at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.

If your item is damaged in transit, kindly retain the damaged goods & all packaging & email us, message or call our support team  immediately.

As a respected and reputable on-line business, we fully comply with the Distance Selling Regulations we will not charge for restocking fees but however you will be charged for the return to the warehouse for whatever reason except if goods are damaged in transit !

All items are subject to an £80 Return charge except if items are damaged in transit 

 

Damaged Items 

We do our best to ensure all items are sufficiently packaged for transit. If you have received a damaged item or are missing parts, please report this to us within the return period and we will arrange replacements for you as quickly as possible. Please note the lead time for replacement parts varies from item to item and may take up to 7-12 working days.

 

If your package is even slightly damaged, it is imperative that you clearly state "Damaged" on the delivery sheet BEFORE signing for delivery. If your package is considerably damaged, you may refuse delivery. Once the damaged item has been returned to us , a new replacement will be shipped out to you.

If you have accepted the item and discover damaged/missing parts within the package, please let us know immediately and we will arrange to send you replacement parts free of charge. Please remember, if the package was signed for without a damage note, we only have up to 48 hours to lodge a claim for the contents of the package after which, claims may not accepted free of charge.

If you decide to not receive replacement parts, the item can be returned under our standard returns policy.

If we are unable to resolve the issue for you with replacement parts or a full replacement, we will arrange free collection of the item and issue you a full refund.
